Sweet & Salty Energy Bites

a no-bake, sweet, salty, crunchy, healthy snack kids and adults love!

ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup light agave nectar
  • 1/4 cup honey roasted peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup crushed dry roasted almonds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milled flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • pinch of salt

instructions:

How to cook Sweet & Salty Energy Bites

  1. combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl
  2. let mixture sit for about 10-15 minutes in the freezer first so rolling is tons easier
  3. foil or set out wax paper on a large baking pan
  4. form mixture into bite sized balls with your hands
  5. place bites onto baking sheet then into the fridge for about an hour or so (or freezer = faster) to harden
  6. enjoy!
