Thyme Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs

ingredients:

  • 8 skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup dijon or grainy, course  mustard
  • 1/4 cup truvia nectar
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme 
  • 1/2 tsp pink himalayan sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp liquid aminos

instructions:

  1. to a large mixing bowl, add chicken thighs, aminos, truvia nectar, mustard, and thyme.  
  2. mix well and let marinate for 30 minutes minimum
  3. coat a large baking pan with no-stick cooking spray and place chicken thighs flat on pan, equal distance apart. sprinkle thighs with sea salt and crack black pepper
  4. bake 40-45 minutes or until the juices run completely clear 

NOTES:

fresh thyme is preferred, but dried works too. massage the dried herbs between your finger tips first to activate their aroma.
