Crispy Coconut Shrimp

crispy, sweet, savory and oil-free!



  1. marinate shelled, raw shrimp in coconut aminos for 30 minutes minimum

  2. add a pinch of garlic salt and cracked black pepper to them on both sides

  3. combine the coconut flakes & panko and set out 3 shallow bowls (potato starch, egg whites, panko/coconut flakes (in that order))

  4. dip 1 shrimp at a time on both sides evenly in the potato starch, then the egg whites, and finally the panko & coconut flake mix

  5. set each one down in your fryer basket without touching.  If you have more room, add a few more!

  6. find the shrimp icon on your air fryer and select; set your air fryer for 10 minutes at 330 degrees.  turn shrimp over after 5 minutes for even more crispiness; add more time if needed.
